French Language Service
Communications and French Services develops and implements communications activities to build public understanding of the City of Greater Sudbury in keeping with its Vision, Values, Goals and Priorities.
The department ensures that citizens receive services in both official languages in accordance with the French-Language Services Policy (PDF 19 KB) adopted by Council.
French Language Services
With the adoption of the French Language Services Policy in 2001, the City of Greater Sudbury has committed to offering services in both official languages. This means that citizens may communicate with the municipality in the language of their choice.
If it should happen that you are dissatisfied with the French language services that you have received at the City of Greater Sudbury, you have a few options:
- Ask to speak to the supervisor and express your concerns.
- Submit a complaint by using the online form at the bottom of this page.
- Communicate with Communications and French Services in writing or by telephone.
